Imagine yourself living amongst a forest of ponderosa pines with views of colorful mountain meadows below. This is Indian Hills. Located at elevations between 6,800 feet and 8,500 feet, this area used to be a summer camping area for the Ute Indians. Now it is home to approx. 1500 people, many have lived here for well over 50 years.
The Indian Hills area extends along the Parmalee Gulch and Myers Gulch Roads between State Highway 74 at Kittredge, Colorado, and U.S. Highway 285 at Turkey Creek.
